Cross Stitching

People always ask me what I do at home when Scott is working. I will tell you but first you have to realize that I've been a stay-at-home wife for about 17 months now so I've pretty much mastered the art of doing nothing. But in all honesty besides from the daily routine of sleeping, eating and watching movies online I also like to cross stitch. And when I get really really bored I clean the house. So for the past year or so here's what I've done with my time.

These projects make me feel like I've actually accomplished something. And now I just added blogging to my to-do-list.

Twirl a tie

I got Scott this tie hanger from ebay for $5.45. It's called twirl a tie and we both love it.

- cheap
- spins around
- fits all closet rails
- holds 20 ties

From this...

... to this.

Ahh so much better to look at. He loves collecting ties and I love organizing his ties. It's a win win situation.

February Glam Bag

So today I got my February Glam bag in the mail. Here's a picture of the stuff I got. Most of 'em are just sample sizes... Let's just say products from January were a lot better than this month.

What's in the February Glam bag?
- X Out Shine Control (oil-free moisturizer)
- NYX Roll On Shimmer (I have a 30% off voucher. Let me know if you want it.)
- Premier Dead Sea Cinderella Mask
- NuMe Professional Styling Tools and Hair Extensions $100 Gift card

Cheapest product they have is $115 mini iron and shipment depends on where you live. In my case its another $15 so its really not worth it. If you're willing to spend $30 on a mini iron let me know, I'd be happy to share with you my gift certificate.

- Freeman Facial Mask Sachets and
- a pink pouch

My Glam is like birchbox, loose button, glossy box, or glymm. Basically they are make up companies that you can subscribe to and pay about an average of $10 a month. They send you either full-size/sample size products ranging from low to high-end make up.

Pros:
- full-size products
- high-end make up
- you can cancel subscription anytime

Cons:
- sample size
- products may not be something you want

Valentines

Scott came home with this beautiful fruit arrangement. It was the tastiest flowers I've ever had! Right now my buddha belly needs fruits more than red roses.

We're pregnant!

After a year and 7 months of waiting our little angel finally decided it's time to come down to earth. This is her first picture at 17 weeks and 6 days. It melted my heart when she waved at us.

And this is the pregnant momma at 22 weeks and 6 days.

Now you might ask where the pregnant dada is... Well let's just say he's busy making some mula for his little girls.

After a year

We actually forgot we had a blog. It's been a year since the last time we wrote. It only proves you that time does travel fast. But life is still great. We are going to give you a quick summary of what happened during the second half of 2009.

July- Scott turned 23. Finally!
August-September- Still in school. It was fun. Not!
October - JM turned 25. Nooo!
November- Did some Black Friday shopping. Can't believe we actually stood in line for 6 hours just so we can buy a flat screen TV. Good deal though.
December- Spent 3 days in Nauvoo, IL and a week in Bloomington, IN for Christmas vacation.

January- School...again...Lame.
February- Watched Valentine's Day
March- JM started a training program at PCC which turned out well.
April- 1st year anniversary. Wohoo! JM also graduated from college. Kind of...

May- School... still struggling. Scott bought a newer Xbox and of course did I mention more games too? Too much free time I guess.
June- JM is still looking for an internship. What a joke! Scott was recognized at work for being a man of integrity... I know right.

Well that's about it.

Word of Wisdom from the Aults: "They laugh at me because I am different. I laugh at them because they are all the same".

PS: the reason why we remembered about this blog was because: a girl from Singapore sent a facebook message to Scott asking about our Taiwan wedding pictures. She probably googled a studio in Taiwan where they can have their wedding pictures taken and apparently our blog was the first one on the list. That's just my assumption though. But whatever the reason is, I think we did a very good job advertising them.

Pre-wedding Pictorial

It is a tradition here in Taiwan to take pre-wedding pictures, its like engagement photos in America. Here are some of the pictures (JM's personal favorites) and if you want to see more you can check our facebook profile. If you're planning to get married in Taiwan you should go to Asia Pacific Exquisite Wedding. You can also visit their website www.apiwi.com. They have a very good customer service.
